About the Asini Wachi Nation

This site is dedicated to Chief Peechee / Piche / Pisu - "Mountain Lion", also known as Louis Piche, Chief of the Asini Wachi Nation groups of the Rocky Mountain People.

The Asini Wachi Nation is the Oldest Recorded Nation in
Western Canada.

The MCB/AWN remains a Nation with Sovereignty with ownership to its traditional lands, Rights and resources. The Supreme Court of Canada in the DELGAMUUKW Rulings recognizes the Existence of bands that have never signed treaty. 

MCB/AWN is a Nation,  not subject to local, regional or National rules, regulations and laws, answerable only to the Supreme Court of Canada. 

The term "Peoples" is used  under Art. 1 of the UN Charter "Peoples" have the inherent right to self-determination as a Nation.
